SW 65th St

Josephine Young Memorial Park is a beach access point located in Cutler City. There are steps to the bayfront from the viewing deck and short walking trails that lead directly to the sand.

Description

There is a paved ADA parking space located in front of the restrooms. The walkway to the viewing deck for the Siletz Bay is paved and has a minor, gradual incline when approaching the beach. The picnic table located on the viewing deck has space for a wheelchair and the railing of the deck is comprised of wooden slats, allowing for views of the bay from a seated position. To access the beach from this area of the park, descend a few steep steps that are made of a combination of stones and sand. The remainder of the park is a wooded area of varying topography. While mostly flat, the pathways throughout the park and to the beach are largely uneven and often made of deep sand or dirt.
