Friends of Wildwoods

This trail is a hidden treasure. This gentle rolling one-mile hike is canopied by tall trees and traverses over woodlands and streams.Enjoy a Sitka Spruce and Western Hemlock forest with an understory of elderberry, sword fern, salmonberry, red alder, ivy, evergreen huckleberry, and salal. There is even a salt marsh overlook.

Is This Trail Accessible?
This trail is mostly comprised of natural surfaces. There are minimal changes in grade, though trail conditions are largely dependant on weather and can change periodically.
How Do I Get Here?
This easygoing hike can be accessed from West Devils Lake Rd, just north of NE 26th Street at milepost 1. There is a pullout parking area just opposite the NE 26th St turnoff.
A second entrance is located at the dead end of NE Tide Ave with limited residential parking.
