Regatta Park

Regatta Park is 1.6 acres of beautiful property situated along the shores of Devils Lake. The first people to enjoy this area were the Native Americans, who would gather around the lake to share their plentiful foods. In the 1930's, this site became home to the annual Devils Lake Regatta, a gathering that brought thousands to Lincoln City. Now it is one of the city's favorite parks. Enjoy the meandering structure of the Sandcastle Playground, make a wish at Sparky the Wish Guardian, or go for a swim in the lake. If you would prefer something even more adventurous, take the trail to view the 400-year-old Sitka Spruce that was designated as an Oregon Heritage Tree.

Description

There are ADA parking spaces available in the paved parking lot at Regatta Park. The restrooms are adjacent to the lower parking area and are ADA-compliant. Access the dock via a paved ramp with a slight incline, then proceed onto the flat dock surface with a slight decline. The swimming area is comprised of sand and is separated from the parking lot with a short curb. There is a paved boat ramp to the North of the ramp for the dock. To access the play area, park in one of the upper parking lots' ADA spaces. The playground is located in an area with barkchips. The Morgan Family Stage and musical instrument play area are both accessible via paved, flat walkways. The grassy area in this park is largely on a hill and does have some variations in ground stability and flatness.
