Taft Bayfront Park

Taft Bayfront Park is in the heart of the Historic Taft District. The flat sandy beaches, ample public parking, and nearby restaurants make this location a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Crab from the shoreline, take a stroll on the Taft Dock, or simply admire the beauty of the Four Sisters rock formations. This park features a covered picnic shelter and has three beach wheelchairs available for rent all year for free.

Reserve a beach wheelchair.

Description

There are ADA parking spaces available in the paved parking lot at Taft Bayfront Park. View the Siletz Bay and Pacific Ocean from the paved, level sidewalks that run along the beachfront. The picnic shelter is located on a flat, paved surface and is near the lockers for the beach wheelchair rentals. Access the beach via flat sandy pathways or utilize a Mobi-mat from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Taft Dock is a wooden plank structure located at the top of a few paved steps.
