Youth Sports

Lincoln City Parks and Recreation provides a variety of organized youth sports. Middle school sports are provided in combination with  Parks and Recreation and the Lincoln County School District.

Coach with Children

Youth Soccer

Ages  5-14yrs old

Seasons

  • Spring— April thru May

  • Fall —September thru October

 

A developmental league for all abilities! This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.  Practices will occur twice a week and games will be played on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Cross Country

Seasons

  • Fall —September thru October

  • Middle school cross country challenges athletes both physically and mentally. There will be multiple meets throughout the season. Meet locations are TBA and transportation is NOT provided. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

    Track & Field

    Grades 7-8

    ​Seasons
    Spring —April thru May

    Athletes will enjoy an opportunity to run sprints, distances or hurdles, and try out several field events including high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, and turbo javelin.  Meets will be away and at home against other middle school track teams. Transportation will be provided to and from meets.  Volunteer coaches are utilized.

    Basketball

    Grades 1-6

    Seasons
    • Winter—January-February

    A developmental league for all abilities! This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.  Practices will occur twice a week and games will be played on Saturdays. For our older grade’s games are played throughout Lincoln County including Lincoln City, Newport, Siletz, Toledo, and Waldport. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

    Volleyball

    Grades 3-6

    Seasons
    • Fall —September thru October
