Youth Sports

Lincoln City Parks and Recreation provides a variety of organized youth sports. Middle school sports are provided in combination with  Parks and Recreation and the Lincoln County School District.

Coach with Children

Youth Soccer

Ages  5-14yrs old

Seasons

  • Spring— April thru May

  • Fall —September thru October

 

A developmental league for all abilities! This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.  Practices will occur twice a week and games will be played on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Cross Country

Grades 7-8

Seasons

  • Fall — September thru October

 

Middle school cross country challenges athletes both physically and mentally. There will be multiple meets throughout the season. Meet locations are TBA and transportation is NOT provided. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Track & Field

Grades 7-8

Seasons

  • Spring — March thru May

 

Students try out several field events, including high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, and turbo javelin. Meets will be away and at home against other middle school track teams. Transportation will be provided to and from meets. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Basketball

Grades 1-6

Seasons

  • Winter — January thru March

 

This youth basketball league is developmental and for all abilities. Teams practice twice a week. Practice times and days vary according to each team. Game locations are TBA and transportation is NOT provided. Volunteer coaches are utilized.
