We offer and partner with a variety of resources & support programs to meet the needs of our community members. 

Assisted Registration Events

Assisted Registration is a day when Scholarship recipients, people with disabilities, and English Language Learners who require specialized support to access Lincoln City Parks and Recreation programs are invited to this registration assistance event. Bilingual staff are available to assist in Spanish.

Located at the LC Community Center

Meals on Wheels is a program designed to serve meals to adults who lack the resources and/or ability to care for their nutrition needs, often due to age, disability, or other hardship. Meals are delivered and served at the Connections Cafe.

Now Available for F.Y. 2025-26

Up to $100 per person, per year

Period: July 1 - June 30 each year

All awards must be used during the awarded year and cannot rollover to the following year. Use the funds at the LC Community Center or enroll in a program.

Submit a copy of statement of benefits as proof of public assistance (WIC, Oregon Trail, Oregon Health Plan, etc.). Apply online or in person.

Young Adult Club (YAC)

M-F 2-7pm & Sa 9am-1pm

FREE for ages 12-17

LC Community Center

The YAC is open to ages 12-17 on a drop-in basis each day. Use the gaming center, climb the rock wall, or get together a pickup game of hoops. The YAC includes access to available LC Community Center facilities. This is a monitored drop-in program that requires a free YAC membership. Visit the LC Community Center's front desk to get a YAC membership.

LC Community Center

The LC Community Center accepts multiple Medicare Fitness Programs, including Silver & Fit, Renew Active, One Pass, and Aaptiv Advantage, that allow you to receive a membership at low or no cost to you.

 

Contact your insurance to find out if you are eligible. If eligible, sign up at the front desk!

Senior Center

Located at the LC Community Center

The Senior Center is open to ages 50+. Members with email addresses will recieve a monthly calendar, quarterly newsletter, and notifications for special activities. The senior center is a separate non-profit entity. Contact them directly.

Connect, socialize, and support fellow trans and non-binary humans at this monthly meet-up. This group will operate in a safe and supportive environment to help uplift each other while finding community and resources.

Walk With Ease

The Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease program is designed to help people living with arthritis better manage their pain and is also ideal for people without arthritis who want to make walking a regular habit.
